Credits and plans
One credit balance powers every LastRound AI feature. This page explains what uses credits, what does not, and where to manage your subscription. Current prices are always on the pricing page.
What uses credits
Interview time is billed per minute of connected time, rounded up to the next minute. Everything else is either free or has its own allowance.

| Desktop app Test Drive | 1 credit per minute, same as a mock interview. |
| Job Search | 5 credits per new search. Re-running a cached search is free. |
| Auto-Apply | Your plan includes a monthly number of auto-applies (shown on the Auto-Apply page). Extra applications cost a small number of credits each, also shown there. Applications opened but never submitted are free. |
| Preparation Hub, Concept Explainers, Company Insights | No credits. |
| Resume Builder | No credits. Resume downloads are capped per plan; the editor shows your remaining downloads. |
Where the numbers live
Your balance is in the top-right of the web app and in the desktop overlay's credits chip. Inside the app, Settings → Billing splits it into Subscription and Bonus credits. Bonus credits are spent first; subscription credits reset every billing cycle.
Step 1: Start on the Free plan
Every new account starts on the Free Plan with free credits already loaded (15 at the time of writing; the exact number is shown on your dashboard). That is enough to try the desktop app, a short mock interview and the preparation tools.Step 2: Upgrade to a monthly or yearly plan
Account → Subscription (or the Upgrade button in the sidebar) opens Choose Your Plan with a Monthly / Yearly toggle. Paid plans are Starter Pack, Professional Pack and Ultimate Pack; each card lists its credits per month and auto-applies per month. Prices are on the pricing page and in the app.Step 3: Top up with bonus credits
On the same page, Need Extra Credits? lists one-time bonus credit packages. Bonus credits never expire, are used before subscription credits, and are handy for an intensive interview week. Paid-plan users can also buy them from Settings → Billing.Step 4: Earn credits
Account → Referral Program gives you a link that earns bonus credits when friends sign up, and Settings → Billing → Earn credits leads to the promotion page where sharing your LastRound AI experience earns free credits.
Payment questions
For failed payments, double charges, invoices or cancellations, email contact@lastroundai.com from the address on your account and include the payment date and amount. Refund eligibility is described in the refund policy.
