Capture screen
For a question on the laptop screen, such as a coding task, tap Capture screen and get the answer on your phone.

Confirm your role, resume and job description on the phone, then start the session from it.

Privacy and security
Only your phone can read it
- Can someone else join?
- No. Each code works once, so only one phone can join a pairing. Unused codes expire after 5 minutes.
- Is it encrypted?
- Yes. Questions and answers are encrypted with a key made from the code. Our servers only pass the encrypted data along.
- Is anything stored?
- Phone mode does not store questions or answers. Your normal interview history is unchanged.
- Is the phone on my shared screen?
- No. The phone is a separate device, so it is not part of your shared screen.

Do I need to install an app on my phone?
No. Phone mode is a web page, app.lastroundai.com/companion, that opens in your phone's browser when you scan the QR code.
Does Phone mode cost extra?
No. It is part of the desktop app. The session uses credits the same way as without the phone.
What happens if my phone disconnects?
The interview keeps running and the app comes back on the laptop by itself, so you are never left without answers.
Can I use the laptop and the phone together?
Yes. After pairing, choose Keep it visible to use both, or Hide the app on this laptop to use only the phone.
