What LastRound AI does with your interview data, where it goes, who processes it, and how to keep it on your own computer or delete it.
Your interview data, step by step
Real-time processing is what makes live answers possible. What is kept afterwards is your choice.
During a live interview
The audio your computer captures is transcribed, and the question is sent to an AI model together with your resume and any screenshot you capture, so an answer can come back in real time. This passes through LastRound AI and the speech and AI providers listed below, who process it on our behalf.
After the interview, by default
The questions and answers are saved to your account so you can review them in Interview History. Only you can read them. We never store your interview audio or video.
If you choose "Keep on this device only"
In the desktop app, Settings → Privacy & Local Data → Interview history. From then on your questions and answers are written to a folder on your own computer and no transcript is kept in your account. We still keep session details (start time, duration, credits used, interview mode) because billing needs them.
Session recording
Off by default. If you switch it on, the recording is saved as a video file on your computer only. It is never uploaded to LastRound AI and we cannot access it. Delete recordings any time from the desktop app.
How your account is protected
Per-user isolation
Account data lives in a Postgres database with row-level security, so one signed-in user cannot read another user's records.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Every page, app and API call uses HTTPS. The database is hosted on Supabase, which encrypts stored data at rest.
We never see your card
Payments are taken by PayPal (USD) and Razorpay (INR). Card and UPI details are entered with them, not with us.
You can delete everything
Delete your account from Settings → Data & privacy in the web app. On-device history and recordings are removed with Clear local data in the desktop app.
Who processes data for us
These providers handle data only to deliver the service. We do not sell, share or publish your interview content.
