    About the role

    This is a hands-on SEO internship for someone who wants to learn how organic growth is really built. You will work directly with the founders on backlinking, on-page and meta optimization, Google Ads, keyword research, and content creation that earns rankings over time.

    You will get real ownership of small but meaningful tasks: finding link opportunities, drafting optimized titles and descriptions, researching keywords for new content, and helping publish articles that target them. You will see how each effort moves search rankings and traffic.

    We are looking for someone curious, detail-oriented, and self-driven. By the end of the internship you should be comfortable running a basic SEO workflow from keyword to published, optimized page.

    What you'll do

    • Research and pursue backlink and off-page opportunities to grow domain authority.
    • Draft and refine on-page SEO elements: titles, meta descriptions, headings, and alt text.
    • Run keyword research to find topics worth targeting and brief them for content.
    • Help create and publish SEO-focused content that targets researched keywords.
    • Assist with Google Ads and paid search experiments to support organic efforts.
    • Track rankings, traffic, and indexing, and report what is working.
    • Keep keyword trackers, link sheets, and the content backlog organized.

    What we're looking for

    • A solid understanding of backlinking and off-page SEO concepts.
    • Familiarity with on-page SEO and meta tag optimization.
    • Some exposure to Google Ads or paid search campaigns.
    • Comfortable with content creation and keyword research.
    • Detail-oriented, curious, and able to learn quickly on your own.

    Nice to have

    • Hands-on use of tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or Semrush.
    • Any personal site or content you have ranked yourself.
    • Basic understanding of how search engines crawl and index pages.
