It listed Unlimited, Credits, and Lifetime plans, split into General and Professional tiers that priced identically, but the currency and discounts shifted by session, the same geo-gamified pattern an earlier review ran into back in June. The July 12 visit did land us a real number, just not in dollars: Unlimited showed Rs 4,880.00/mo billed monthly or Rs 3,549.33/mo billed every 3 months, both in Indian rupees. LastRound AI's pricing page did the opposite: one plan, one price, $19 a month, no popup asking where the request came from.

That gap is real, and it isn't the whole comparison. LockedIn AI has been around since 2024, per its own materials, and ships two things LastRound AI doesn't: Duo, a live human helper alongside the AI, and a free tier that tops up daily instead of resetting monthly. Both are genuine advantages, and we cover them below before getting to where LastRound AI pulls ahead.

Neither figure is independently benchmarked as far as we could find, so treat both as vendor-stated.

The user-count claims don't quite line up, either. The hero says 1M+ users. Elsewhere on the same site, the pricing page's trust statement cites "58,000+ professionals," a figure that also shows up in earlier third-party coverage. A founder podcast appearance we came across put the number closer to 100,000 candidates, though we don't have a stable link for that one, so treat it as a data point, not a source. Three numbers, one user base.

Free tier: minutes that renew daily versus credits that reset monthly

This is the strongest genuine case for LockedIn AI. New accounts get 10 credits, which at the platform's stated burn rate of 0.5 credits per minute works out to roughly 20 minutes of copilot time. Their support documentation also describes a recurring daily allowance on top of that, plus a claim that credits never expire once you have them. We're treating that as LockedIn AI's own claim, not something we confirmed by draining an account over months.

LastRound AI's free plan gives 15 credits a month, reset on the monthly cycle rather than accumulating daily. Only credits purchased separately carry over. If you want to test a live copilot heavily across many days before paying, a daily-replenishing structure is, honestly, a better design than a once-a-month reset. More tools in this category could stand to copy it.

Duo and the multi-model roster

Duo is LockedIn AI's live human-assist feature. The homepage copy reads "Never interview alone... invite a friend to help you crush your interview, live," meaning a second person watching the call and feeding guidance alongside the AI, not two AI models running in parallel as the name might suggest. It has no direct equivalent in LastRound AI's lineup. Paired with model choice across OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and DeepSeek, LockedIn AI covers more configuration ground than a single-engine tool, and enough independent commentary exists online, including our earlier LockedIn AI review, that finding an honest read isn't hard.

Pricing: one verified number against a handful of third-party guesses

LastRound AI's pricing page lists four tiers, no login wall: Free at $0 (15 credits), Starter at $19/mo (90 credits), Pro at $49/mo (270 credits), Ultimate at $99/mo (600 credits). LockedIn AI's page rendered plan names with no stable dollar amount attached, matching the geo-localized, discount-stacked behavior we noted in our earlier review. Converting at roughly 83 INR to the dollar puts that near $59/mo or $43/mo, our own estimate, not a figure LockedIn AI states. Separately, jobright.ai's pricing breakdown reports Unlimited around $29.99/mo billed quarterly, credit plans between $35 and $70/mo, and roughly 200 credits a month on Pro. The two don't match, and we're not smoothing that over. Pricing that shifts by region and by visit tends to go stale fast.
