Parakeet AI Pricing (2026): What It Really Costs
For calls: 1 credit for $25.00, which covers an hour of call time, or the "Unlimited" subscription at $99.90/mo, $399.90/yr, or $52.00 for a single week. The page's price data also lists a $599.90 one-time lifetime plan.
Candidates who want unmetered call volume and are fine paying a premium for it. Infrequent interviewers are probably better served by credits, which never expire, or by a cheaper plan elsewhere.
At $99.90/mo, it's a premium price built for heavy use. Whether it's worth it depends on interview volume: someone interviewing weekly could get real value, someone interviewing once a quarter is paying a lot for very little use.
I checked Parakeet AI's pricing page on September 25, 2026, and the numbers were sitting right on the page. No signup wall. The subscription is now called "Unlimited": $99.90 a month or $399.90 a year, with a weekly option at $52.00. The yearly card carries a "Best value" label, not a percentage badge. Credit packs now show their prices too, starting at $25.00 for a single credit.
Our July 12, 2026 version of this page listed the yearly plan at $599.90 with a "Save 50%" badge. Today's price data puts yearly at $399.90 and lists $599.90 as a one-time lifetime plan instead. Pricing pages change, so here's what Parakeet AI actually costs, where the word "unlimited" does and doesn't apply, and where LastRound AI's published plans (from $29/mo, or $19/mo on the 3-month plan) land by comparison. Our Parakeet AI review covers the product itself, including stealth, if price isn't the only thing you're weighing.
What's on the Parakeet AI pricing page now
As of the September 25, 2026 check, parakeet-ai.com/#pricing lists a subscription called "Unlimited" in three billing cycles: $99.90/mo (₹9,470/mo), $399.90/yr (₹37,900/yr), or $52.00 for one week (₹4,980). Work out the math on the yearly figure and it lands around $33.33/mo, about 67% less than paying $99.90 twelve times. The card itself just says "Best value." Parakeet's terms (last updated March 15, 2026) give a 7-day refund window for accidental or unused purchases, one refund per person, and no refund once a credit or session has been used. Checkout takes major cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, plus UPI and PhonePe in India, where UPI buyers get the yearly plan as a one-time payment with no auto-renewal.
"Unlimited" is Parakeet AI's own name for the plan, and the card describes it as "Unlimited call sessions (& mock)." We're reporting that as the vendor's label, not as something we independently verified. The pricing page and FAQ don't spell out whether a fair-use or daily cap sits underneath that name. If one exists, it isn't disclosed anywhere we could find, so this post isn't claiming the plan is unlimited without qualification, just that "unlimited" is what the pricing page itself calls it.
| Plan | Price |
|---|---|
| Free | 10 free sessions of up to 10 minutes each, plus one free mock interview |
| Unlimited, weekly | $52.00/week (₹4,980/week) |
| Unlimited, monthly | $99.90/mo (₹9,470/mo) |
| Unlimited, yearly | $399.90/yr (₹37,900/yr), labeled "Best value" |
| Lifetime | $599.90 one-time, listed in the page's price data |
| Credits only | 1 credit for $25.00; 3 for $39.00; 6 plus 2 bonus for $78.00; 9 plus 6 bonus for $117.00. Half a credit covers a 30-minute call session. |
| Prepare only | $30.70/mo or $122.90/yr for the prep tools; calls stay on credits |
Subscription vs. credits: two different bets
Parakeet AI sells access two ways. The "Unlimited" subscription is a flat weekly, monthly, or yearly fee with no per-session credit math while you're on a call. Credits are for someone who doesn't want a recurring charge and would rather buy access in a fixed, finite amount, use it down, and buy more later. A session deducts 0.5 credits for each 30 minutes, so one credit is an hour of calls, and Parakeet's FAQ says credits never expire. That's the trade-off worth naming clearly: the subscription is billed as unmetered, the credits-only option is usage-limited by design, since you're buying a set quantity rather than an open-ended plan.
With credit prices now on the page, the break-even is easy to work out. The biggest pack is 15 credits for $117.00, or $7.80 per hour of calls. At that rate $99.90 buys about 13 hours, so the monthly subscription only pencils out if you expect more than roughly 13 hours of calls in a month. Buying single credits at $25.00 each, the line drops to about 4 hours.
The free tier
Parakeet's FAQ says new users get 10 free sessions of up to 10 minutes each, and you can start another every 12 minutes. There's also one free mock interview. Each session is short, enough time to run through two or three real interview questions and get a read on transcription speed and answer quality, not long enough to sit through a full mock interview loop end to end.
The pricing page doesn't say whether Auto Answer, where the tool notices the interviewer stopped talking and surfaces an answer without a click, behaves the same in free sessions as on a paid plan. Test it during a free session before you pay, since that's the feature you'd be paying $99.90/mo to rely on in a live interview.

The two pricing shapes aren't close. Parakeet AI's Unlimited subscription is built for volume: one flat charge, no credit tracking, priced at $99.90/mo because it's covering unmetered use (with the fair-use terms unstated). LastRound AI's plans are metered: Starter is $29/mo with 150 credits, or $19/mo on the 3-month plan, plus 15 free credits every month. If you'd rather buy Parakeet AI access in a fixed, finite amount instead of subscribing, that's what its credits are for, starting at $25.00 for an hour of calls.
Is the $99.90/mo subscription worth it?
- You interview rarely, maybe once a quarter: $99.90/mo is a lot to pay for a handful of calls. Parakeet's own credits ($25.00 buys an hour of calls, and they never expire), or LastRound AI's Starter plan at $29/mo ($19/mo on the 3-month plan), both cost less for occasional use.
- You're actively interviewing multiple times a week: unlimited calls at a flat $99.90/mo removes per-session math entirely. If you'd use more than about 13 hours of calls a month, the subscription is the simpler bet. For a single busy week, the $52.00 weekly plan covers it.
- You want to lock in the yearly discount: $399.90/yr works out to about $33.33/mo, roughly 67% below the $99.90 monthly rate. The $599.90 lifetime plan costs the same as 18 months of the yearly plan, and Parakeet's terms define "lifetime" as the life of the plan, not yours. Either only pays off if you're confident you'll still be using it a year from now.
Pricing aside, check how Parakeet AI handles stealth before you commit to any plan. Its site now says the desktop process has no visible name or icon in macOS Activity Monitor, and our look at whether Parakeet AI is detectable covers what that claim does and doesn't cover.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Parakeet AI cost?
Parakeet AI's subscription, labeled "Unlimited" on the site, costs $99.90/mo, $399.90/yr (about $33.33/mo), or $52.00 for a single week. Credits cost $25.00 for one, $39.00 for three, $78.00 for six plus two bonus, and $117.00 for nine plus six bonus; half a credit covers a 30-minute call. The page's price data also lists a $599.90 one-time lifetime plan. Check the official parakeet-ai.com/#pricing page for the current figures.
Does Parakeet AI have a free plan?
Yes. Parakeet's FAQ says you get 10 free sessions of up to 10 minutes each, and you can start a new one every 12 minutes. You also get one free mock interview. Free sessions never count as a purchase, so they don't affect your refund eligibility.
Is Parakeet AI's subscription really unlimited?
That's the name Parakeet AI gives it, "Unlimited," and the card lists "Unlimited call sessions (& mock)." We're reporting the plan's own label. The pricing page and FAQ don't spell out whether a fair-use or daily cap sits underneath that name, so we're not claiming it's unlimited without qualification. If a cap exists, it isn't disclosed on the pages we checked.
Do Parakeet AI credits expire?
No. Parakeet's FAQ states that credits never expire. That's a genuine advantage for infrequent interviewers over a subscription that renews whether you use it or not. The credits-only option is still usage-limited, since you buy a finite amount and use it down at 0.5 credits per 30 minutes of calls, unlike the subscription's unlimited label.
Is LastRound AI cheaper than Parakeet AI?
Against the subscription, yes. LastRound AI's Starter plan is $29/mo for 150 credits, or $19/mo on the 3-month plan, under a third of Parakeet AI's $99.90/mo Unlimited subscription. Against Parakeet's credit packs it depends on how much you use: its 15-credit pack works out to $7.80 per hour of calls, while one LastRound AI credit is one minute. LastRound AI also gives 15 free credits every month, versus Parakeet AI's 10 free 10-minute sessions.
If you want interview copilot coverage without the $99.90/mo price tag, the LastRound AI interview copilot starts at $29/mo, or $19/mo on the 3-month plan, with desktop stealth included. The mock interview tool is part of the same plan, covering behavioral, technical, and coding rounds, and the resume builder is free with a live ATS score if the job search side needs work, not just the interview side.
