About the role
As a UI/UX Designer at LastRound AI, you will shape how candidates experience the product at one of the most stressful moments of their careers. Your job is to make a powerful AI tool feel calm, clear, and trustworthy.
You will own flows end to end: research, wireframes, high-fidelity designs in Figma, and close collaboration with engineering to ship pixel-accurate results. You will also help grow and maintain our design system so the product stays consistent as it scales.
This role suits someone who can hold both the big picture and the small details, who prototypes quickly, and who backs decisions with reasoning rather than taste alone.
What you'll do
- Design end-to-end flows for the web and desktop apps, from wireframe to high fidelity.
- Build and maintain components in a shared design system that mirrors our shadcn/ui front end.
- Prototype interactions and validate them with quick user feedback.
- Partner with engineers to ensure designs ship accurately and responsively.
- Audit existing screens and propose focused improvements to clarity and usability.
- Create supporting marketing and product visuals when needed.
What we're looking for
- A strong portfolio showcasing web or app product design.
- Proficiency in Figma or a comparable modern design tool.
- A solid grasp of responsive and accessible design principles.
- Ability to explain and defend design decisions with clear reasoning.
Nice to have
- Experience building or extending a design system.
- Familiarity with Tailwind and component-driven front-end work.
- Motion or interaction design skills.
