In March 2026, Interview Sidekick published a review listing LockedIn AI’s Trustpilot score as 3.7 out of 5 from 76 reviews (interviewsidekick.com\/blog\/lockedin-ai-review<\/a>), a gap from the 4.8 the company shows on its homepage. Part of what’s behind that gap, per the review, is a cluster of complaints about the tool being visible during screen share. Not a majority complaint. Enough to notice.<\/p>\n

LockedIn AI’s TikTok bio describes the product as fully undetectable, stronger than the hedged phrasing on lockedinai.com<\/a> itself: “operates quietly,” “runs invisibly.” Whether that gap matters depends on how literally you take marketing copy.<\/p>\n

What “fully undetectable” covers, and what it doesn’t<\/h2>\n

LockedIn AI runs at least three products under one account: the interview copilot, a coding-specific copilot, and LockedIn Duo, a dual-model mode for shared-screen calls. The stealth claim doesn’t apply identically across all three, and the marketing rarely spells out which product a given claim describes.<\/p>\n

For the standard copilot, LockedIn AI’s own language reads as a background-process description, not an absolute guarantee. For Duo, the framing is stronger: “the interviewer sees only you and your normal screen share. There are no LockedIn AI overlays, no helper presence.” That’s structurally different, since Duo isn’t rendering an overlay at all, per that description. The TikTok bio compresses all of it into one absolute line.<\/p>\n

How the stealth mechanism is supposed to work<\/h2>\n

The core copilot and coding copilot use a native desktop app that renders its interface at the OS level, outside the window layer screen-capture APIs read from. When Zoom, Teams, or Meet asks the OS what’s on screen to build the feed sent to other participants, a properly excluded overlay doesn’t show up. It’s a real technique, not marketing fiction. Cluely, Final Round AI, and LastRound AI’s own desktop copilot all use variations of it.<\/p>\n

What it doesn’t cover is anything outside that capture-API path. A local recording grabbing frames at a lower graphics layer can still pick up what the exclusion hides, and lockdown-browser proctoring scans running processes instead. None of this is specific to LockedIn AI; it’s how overlay-based stealth behaves generally, which is why “undetectable” needs a scenario attached before it means much.<\/p>\n

LockedIn Duo is the interesting exception, and it deserves credit on its own terms. If the company’s description holds up, and I haven’t tested it myself, Duo doesn’t render a hideable overlay at all: the model works from audio, nothing for a capture API to catch.
