Final Round AI’s Job Hunter add-on is gone. We checked finalroundai.com\/ai-job-hunter directly on July 12, 2026, and the page now reads, word for word: “AI Job Hunter has been discontinued. This feature is no longer available.” No press release, no wind-down notice we could find, just that line sitting where the sign-up flow used to be.<\/p>\n

If you landed on this page hunting for what Job Hunter costs, stop. That product doesn’t exist anymore. What follows is what it used to do, what it used to cost while it existed (past tense, on purpose), and what people who wanted it are using now.<\/p>\n

What Job Hunter used to do<\/h2>\n

Job Hunter was Final Round AI’s auto-apply layer. You’d feed it a resume and job preferences, it scanned matching postings, and it filed applications on your behalf instead of you clicking through each one yourself. Standard auto-apply mechanics: parse the posting, tailor the submission, send it, move to the next. It was never sold as a standalone subscription. Running it required an active, paid Interview Copilot plan underneath, which was the whole point of contention people had with it while it was live.<\/p>\n

What it used to cost (this is now moot)<\/h2>\n

Third-party reviews from earlier in 2026, Remote Job Assistant and Interview Sidekick among them, reported three tiers: $24.99\/mo for 50 applications, $49.99\/mo for 100, and $74.99\/mo for 150. We never got Final Round AI’s own page to confirm those numbers directly, even before the shutdown, the pricing details were JS-rendered and didn’t surface on a plain fetch. Now the question is academic anyway. There’s nothing to buy.<\/p>\n

Job Hunter is discontinued. The base product it required is not. We browser-verified Final Round AI’s core subscription pricing directly against finalroundai.com\/subscription<\/a> on July 12, 2026, the same day we confirmed the Job Hunter shutdown: Free at $0 (no live copilot), Monthly at $150\/mo (non-refundable), Quarterly at roughly $83.33\/mo, Yearly at $25\/mo billed annually, Premium MAX at roughly $41.67\/mo. If you’re evaluating Final Round AI purely for interview prep, none of the auto-apply story above affects that decision. The Copilot is a separate, working product.<\/p>\n

Why would a company kill an add-on like this?<\/h2>\n

Final Round AI didn’t explain the shutdown on the page itself, so anything past this paragraph is us guessing, not reporting. My read: bolt-on auto-apply add-ons built on top of a required base subscription are hard to run profitably at scale, especially once job boards started tightening bot-application detection through most of 2025 and into 2026. That’s a theory, not a confirmed fact, and I’d rather say that plainly than dress a guess up as reporting.<\/p>\n
