Y Combinator’s Summer 2026 batch is still running as I write this, and Tsenta is one of the companies in it, building an agent that finds jobs, tailors your resume, and submits the application without much of you in the loop. The line on tsenta.com<\/a> doesn’t hedge: “Be the first to apply to every job that fits you. Hands off.” That’s a specific promise, and this Tsenta review exists to check it against what the product actually does before you connect a resume and a card number to it.<\/p>\n

I should say up front: I haven’t run a full job search through Tsenta myself. It’s new enough that there’s no Trustpilot page, no Capterra listing, no G2 profile to check the marketing against. This review is built from the company’s own site, its pricing page, and a comparison against what LastRound AI does at the application stage. That’s thinner ground than I’d like for a product asking $19 to $99 a month, and I’ll flag every place where I’m taking the company’s word for it.<\/p>\n

What Tsenta actually does<\/h2>\n

The core idea is straightforward: instead of you searching job boards, Tsenta watches employer career pages directly. The company says it monitors more than 50,000 career pages, plus the usual board feeds, and matches new postings against your resume the moment they go live. The pitch is speed: catching a role before it gets indexed on LinkedIn or Indeed, when the applicant pool is thinnest.<\/p>\n

Once a posting clears your match threshold, Tsenta drafts a tailored resume and cover letter from the job description, with keyword alignment and ATS-safe formatting. It then fills out the application itself, across what tsenta.com describes as 15-plus applicant tracking systems (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby among them), and logs a receipt when it’s done. Work-authorization filtering is built in too, so candidates who need sponsorship (OPT, H-1B) can exclude postings that won’t consider them.<\/p>\n

Where Tsenta gets unusual is access. Beyond the web dashboard, you can run it from iMessage, WhatsApp, a Chrome extension, or an MCP\/CLI integration built for agent tools like Claude Code. Most auto-apply products stop at a browser tab. Tsenta built four entry points into one pipeline, which is either a genuinely useful spread or an attempt to be everywhere before the product has proven itself anywhere. Probably some of both.<\/p>\n

I can’t verify the claimed lead time (the site doesn’t publish a specific number of hours), but the mechanism is real, and it’s a legitimate reason a match-first product could beat a keyword-search product on timing alone.<\/p>\n

Tailored documents with a diff view<\/h3>\n

The resume and cover-letter generation is per-role, pulled from the actual posting rather than a generic template with a company name swapped in. Tsenta’s feature page says every tailored document comes with a diff view, showing what changed before anything gets submitted. A diff view is the difference between trusting an agent and auditing one, a detail smaller competitors often skip.<\/p>\n

Four ways in: web, iMessage, WhatsApp, and CLI<\/h3>\n

You can review matches and approve documents over text message, which sounds gimmicky until you think about how most job searches actually happen: in stolen five-minute windows between meetings, not at a desktop. The CLI\/MCP integration is aimed at a narrower crowd, developers who already run agent tooling. It’s a small feature on paper. For the audience it’s built for, it might be the reason they pick this tool over a competitor with a nicer dashboard.<\/p>\n
